I have been having an issue where my check engine light will flash on and the engine will stall, and poor performance when cold. I get surging while driving at low speeds, engine jerks and stalls unless revved up a bit. Also sometimes the engine will rev up high when I go to switch gears (3000 RPM). I have experienced engine dying when stepping on the clutch at stop signs.
I read the codes and got an engine coolant temperature sensor out of range fault.
code 21.
throttle position sensor code (both too high and too low)
code 53
code 63
No code for it but the IAC motor was replaced with an aftermarket one that came from an auction site for super cheap.... so it is suspect.
Throttle position sensor is also a napa aftermarket.
Voltage at idle reads out at 0.99.
If anyone has any ideas let me know, because otherwise I'm throwing TPS and ECT sensor at it... Then a new IAC if problem persists.
