MY paint progress on the ranger is nearing the end. I would like to replace the window seals/dew wipes on my 86 ranger. Has anyone had experience replacing them?

On my 84 is was pretty simple. I ordered mine from LMC and it was fairly straightforward install. Pull the old ones out (saving any clips) and, on mine, I started with the back of the window and worked my way forward. On mine I thought I had way too much hanging down inside the door, but in the end it all worked out. I used the window to seat the seals in the door (not aggressively). I still have to do the passenger side though.

I Just pulled them out. Granted they came out in pieces, but I just yanked. Mine had a clip (Metal), that held it in the groove on the front side of the door, that had to come out, otherwise they just pulled out.

Just look at the new one's when you get them and you will see how they come out.
