Hello, i recently got a auto 2000 ranger offroad package with 4.0L, i have done i few tune up (Spark plug, clean MAF,IAC and throttlebody, new air filter.) and i think my MPG actually decreased a bit...
Anyway i was wondering what is your instant MPG just to hold 90kph at a straight line and no hill?
For me just to keep 90kph on a straight line, i get 13-14 instant mpg, i was wondering if its normal for these truck? My only known issue is that the motor when warm, idle high at 850-1000rpm. I use a ultragauge to know the instant MPG, and i try to be as smooth as possible with gas in city/hw but i still average 14mpg.
Should i be consider these MPG? Or its just normal? Heard peope average more like 18-20mpg with these truck.
