i wish i would of seen your last post b4 i left oregon. i would of picked it up for my son. he has my old gas truck. 360 with 318 heads in a '83' d150 pickup. it loves a bit of extra in the fuel. i've even poured old r.c. airplane fuel in it.
the r.c. nitro fuel sure wakes up the engine...

The only thing I've ever heard about mixing the fuels is that diesel is supposed to be "dirtier" than regular gas...so maybe check your fuel filters more often (like once...lol)...

This thing sounds intersting... I'm looking to get more mileage out of my pos b2300... What about running 1/4 diesel and the rest regular pump gas? What gain in mileage would I expect? .. I need to try this badly... This thing costs me over around 80$ a week just to go to the job, So if I can get 50-100km more out of a tank I would be hella HAPPY..

I've done this. Make sure you keep an eye on your oil level and viscosity. Diesel will leak past your rings and thin your engine oil out....

I'd just let the fuel set a few days. One or the other will float to the top of the barrel. Then just siphon the fuel on top to a different container. I did this to get the water out of the gas on my boat when I sunk it.

Didn't he say in the first post that that doesn't work?

What a pointless post. I'm sure the fuel is long gone on top of the fact that gas and diesel will mix and not separate since they are both oil based.
