Hey guys! I've been searching for hours and cant find a definite answer, so excuse me if this has already been discussed on this forum. I just bought new rims for my ranger. As mentioned in the title they are 19x8.5 with a +45mm offset. my question is; what size tires can i use? I want some low profile tires. I'm stock height by the way. I'm looking at 255/35. This an appropriate size? any suggestions on other tire sizes that would work? I want something fairly low profile. not ridiculousy low, just enough to make the rims look good.

Thanks a lot guys! let me know.

255/35R19 would be within 0.1" in diameter of the 235/50R15s on my daughter's Splash; and 255s in narrower than the 131x10.5R15s under mine; so the size should be ok. But...

45mm offset is a lot of offset; the stock 16x8 rims for Ranger 4x4 have 0mm. As you have the rims purchased, have you put them on to see how they look? On rear, do you have 1.5" between rim and springs; on front, same (turn wheels to lock and check at full turn both directions as worst case).

If you have the same, you should be good.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I have not mounted them to the ranger yet as it has been a long winter up here in Ontario. I will check soon and see if they fit, but im actually considering selling them. I didnt do enough research and tiredtires are more expensive than i thought! Ill let you know how it works out
