Hey I wanna put a winch on the front of my truck can I just get one of those universal mount plates or do I have to do something else?

I would strongly suggest getting a custom bumper made.

You might look and see if you can get a front receiver. As an added plus if you ran power to the rear as well you could switch it depending on need too.
