Don't tell me that i should of search. i looked and could not fine anything.

when you take the e-clip out of the carrier do you have to unbolt the front part of the shaft.?

the front drive shaft that is connected to the t-case.

Yes you need to remove the driveshaft to get the pig out, the straps unbolt on the diff side and it'll just slide out of the slip yoke on the t-case.

I prefer to the drop the whole beam on the ground to pull the pig rather than wrestle with it in the rig.

Sounds easy enough. i don't really want to drop the whole beam. I pretty sure that the u joints are bad because when in 4wd it sounds like it with increase increase speed. And if it was the gears i would think they would have blown up, since Ive been using a decent amount today with the 2 feet of snow we got. Would I be correct.
