Well I started off yankin out the 3.0 and tranny from the truck
Yanked out the 94 mustang 5.0 and trans
Aode tranny came out to be no good
Got me a 2000 explorer 4r70w trans with driveshaft
I got the motor and trans bolted up and dropped it in the truck with the transdapt motor mounts
The trans is so close to the trucks original drive shaft that I want to pull the motor foward and try to slip in the driveshaft
Has anyone done this?
If I do this I might have it completely flushed and could ignore the whole rear end issue until I find time and money up grade later down the road
And another issue I was just thinking about is the wiring harness from the mustang and explorer trans
Connections won't connect together...
Should I get an explorer engine comp wiring harness and go with that?
