I appologize in advance because this is probably a stupid question as I'm used to sports cars, not trucks. I am wanting to upsize the tires on my rig from 235s to 31s and don't have the money for a suspension lift right now (but will do a 2" lift later) and was looking at body lifts (2" or 3"). My question is there enough slack in steering/brakelines/wiring etc, because all the lift looks like is bigger body bushings. Thanks in advace
Wes

why can't you do a budget lift? like coil spacers and blocks in the rear?? a body lift is gonna cost about the same...

My right rear spring is sagging already so I was wanting to do an explorer rear springs and maybe a coil spacer on the front, atleast that's my plan for the 2" lift kit.

my rig come with a budget boost suspension (spacers and aal's) and 31's and the 31's scrubbed on anything mild offroad, and they were on 3.5" b/s rims. imo 4" of lift is necessary to run 31's and do any type of offroading. or run 2" and do some fender cutting

now the problem with spacers/leveling coils in the front is this: your driveshaft is about .5" from the RA xmember, and any mild flexing it hits. another thing is 2" isnt really enough to run ra drops or ext arms to keep that from happening. also im not 100% sure about the ttb's but spacers also change your spring rate and make it stiffer. my steering angle is crap as well, and even with only 2" of spacers. i need a drop pitman badly
