Alright I got a new diff cover from Solid Axles for an 8.8. After I installed it my truck wouldnt roll. At first I thought the ebrake was stuck, but turns out the ring gear was hitting the inside of the diff cover. Pictures below with problem area circled. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

I would contact the company direct and voice your problem to them. Some will say grind on it, but I wouldn't for fear of losing the warranty that is on it and not being able to return it.

If this was some second hand cover I would say double gasket and grind but if its brand new the company should make good on the correct fitting part. You paid for it to fit your 8.8 axle, not to modify to fit your 8.8 axle.

Yep. They apparently modeled their cover on a fullsize-truck (31 spline) 8.8" axle and didn't take into consideration the Ranger (28 spline) 8.8" has the cover surface ¼" closer to the ring gear.
Good thing you didn't try to drive it lol (a common way to break a stuck p-brake free in the cold)

Almost looks like he started to roll foreward and the ring gear dug itself into the cover a bit

Grind it. I had the same one on my F150 and it still rubbed. I put it on my 28 spline 8.8 and it cleared w/ minimal grinding...I now have it on my 31 spline 8.8

Still indestructable and working just fine.
