Never thought of that, i bet that looks pretty nice in your dashEbay is full of them.
Another idea: You can also go with a modern Ranger's radio, if you are willing to adapt your truck to use the modern radio's style of connector. Wiring is same, just different connector shape. Do you know how to solder? I made a 6" short adapter that plugs into my 1997 dashboard's old (ie, pair of 8-pin) connectors and its other end plugs into the rear of a newer 2008 radio (using new style 16-pin connector). The new radio plays MP3 CDs, and has AUX input. Nice!
That looks sick might do it to my 99 ranger if i can find the radio cheapMy photos are here at http://imgur.com/a/xWGY6
On Ebay, "autoware302" also sells similar adapters, like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-RADIO-ADAPTER-WIRING-HARNESS-OLD-TO-NEW-STYLE-/220809633090
