Ok so I think my idle is a bit low but then again I don't know these vehicles that well.

On first start up, anytime you start it hot or cold every time it revs up close to 2k before settling down to around 1k and drops to 500rpm at points. At this point the "check gauges" light comes on until I make it rev up a tad.

Now, my oil pressure gauge is broken, but my thinking is that the cluster and ecu is still getting the low pressure reading and making that light come on. Only other thing it could be would be the idle itself causing that light to come on.

Get a mechanical oil pressure reading when the light is on. Look to be idling around 700 or so, which is not too bad.

Ok I know some cars will have low oil pressure because the idle isn't high enough

So new problem, I've noticed it before but thought maybe it was just a cold start thing. First starting the truck it will jump rpm's up to about 2k for a few min. Then settle down and almost stall before returning to above idle.

It's gotten worse, it will jump up to 2500 rpm and slowly creep to 3000rpm for a wile. If I put it in gear it will drop idle, sometimes seems to misfire or run rough for a second or two. Return it to park and idle returns to 2500rpm.

No codes on my solus but I did take some pics of the data at idle. (When it settled down) I'll get some more in a little while when it's idling high.
