Anyone seen the Toyota commercial where they show a Ford Ranger hooked to a tow truck and people running in to a Toyota dealership? The Ranger doesn't have a blue oval on the front grill, but you can tell (suggestive) by looking at it that it's a Ranger.

the grill on the ranger is certainly not the right grill, and i'm about 90% sure it's a honda grill, though i can't think of what it would fit... take a look at the big square section that is for where the emblem would go... it has an outline of the honda H

yeah, damn those 20 year old ford batteries for needing replacement! lol

although i do have to say it's still not as bad as chevy and dodge's campaigns...

I have seen it a lot of times. I thought that was an older T100 at first. I saw it again last night and was trying to figure out what it was (looking at the access window). It looks like some of my buddy's older T100's they had for a long time.

It's a hacked up 1st gen insert. The paper thing in the corner is over the spot that the bagde would go.

They are trying to get Ranger owners over to them now that the Ranger is gone. They see us as their new market base. I'll keep fixing my Ranger, thanks!

Yea I'm kinda with him on this. Plus I suppose there's no harm in poking fun since the ranger platform is no longer being made. You could see it as, their beloved ranger blew up and they just want a new truck but if you don't want to spend lotsa money get a Toyota. Low hanging fruit since ford can't really respond now that they only have full size trucks.
