Hello TRS,

A while back I switched all the bulbs on my Ranger over to LED's. However, I decided to change back after having the following issue.

The LED bulbs (purchased from SiriusLED's), did not always come on, or when they did, they would just emit a small amount of light. Sometimes they would come on, but randomly shut off/come on.

My first thought (since it was multiple lights) was the voltage was fluctuating. I wired in my meter and monitored several different locations - voltage remained steady and fairly consistent (12.2v-13.6v).
Second thought was bad connections. So I cleaned all the connections on the bulbs and the truck. I used dielectric grease and double-checked that all connections were tight. All looked good, however the problem persisted.

I doubt I received that many bad bulbs.

Does anyone have any input or suggestions as what to try next?

Thanks

Just interior or exterior as well? You may have plugged them in incorrectly. Try flipping the connection around and see if you are getting better light performance. I'm literally running $13 eBay led bulbs in my taillights and reverse lights with 0 issues. Did order led headlights but they do NOT fit my trucks harness (even though they are the correct bulbs). Hopefully you can figure it out because going back to Halogen bulbs sucks big time

Both interior and exterior, and the ones that I could, I have flipped both ways multiple times. I'm not sure what's up with these.

Could be a bad batch... I've had amazing luck with the cheap bulbs off eBay...
