1987 Ranger sat for about 3 yrs and just recently got it running. When I start it from a cold start it stalls right away. If I give it a little gas for a minute it will stay running but idles rough. Also runs a little on the warm side of the temp gage when I drive it.
Codes:
84- EVR circuit failure- connector has voltage but can't get the EVR to function. Tried three different EVR solenoids. Connector not making contact maybe?
63- TPS voltage too low- replaced TPS (tested it, it was bad, but code still appears).
33- EGR valve not closing- replaced EGR valve. If the EVR isn't doing it's job, then wouldn't the EGR be closed all the time?
