94 4.0 ranger with new clutch and pressure plate.when in nuetral it seems clutch is not all the way disengaged but has been bled well and dont see any adjustment.and when i push clutch in it feels disengaged and the high 1300 rpm drops.why would a hydraulic clutch affect a igh idle.:beer:

When you put the clutch in neutral and let the clutch out, the clutch engages, but since you haven't selected a gear, it's just spinning the input shaft in the trans.

I've found that sometimes if the IAC (Idle air control valve) is gunked up, or if it's really cold, or if your TPS (throttle position sensor) is a little wonky, it'll cause a high idle in neutral.
