Does anyone know which years and models of Ranger pickups might have had the same sunroof and the '87 Bronco II? My BII is an Eddie Bauer model and has what I believe to be a factory sunroof with the word "Carlite" on the glass. It has two hinges in front and pops up slightly in the rear using the plastic knob/crank. I'm pretty sure some of the Rangers had this one as well but don't know which versions would have had it as an option. All I need is the front hinges and the rear crank assembly.

83-88 per the parts book.

502P14 is the crank assy
502B62 is the knob (kind of a triangular knob)

If I am reading it right:
502D60 kit has the glass side of the hinge
502P00 is the vehicle side of the hinge

That is the base part #, E4TZ is the prefix for an '84, work your way up and see what you find and what fits yours. They might have tweaked it year to year.

Thanks for your response here. I don't know where to find the parts book. Is that something I can find online? I've asked a Ford dealer whether they have the parts I need for a B2 and have been told they don't and they're discontinued. I guess they could have them for the Ranger though?

My hinge is a total of four parts, two on each side as your post seems to indicate. Also, the crank knob is kind of triangular.

I bought the cd version of the parts book online for about $20. There are places that specialize in nos parts, with the provided part #’s you should be able to turn something up.

The number for your crank for example should go something like E3TZ-502P14 since it came out in '83, if it was changed in like 1986 the part would change to E6TZ-502P14.

I did a quick search though on the numbers and came up with nothing :dunno:

Rearcounter.com is a great resource to find NOS parts...and you only need a part of the part number to do a search. For the knob/handle you're looking for, it come up with the following:

Link: Search Results

NOS Ltd lists it as HANDLE ASSY.-ROOF OPENING GLASS. Might be what you're looking for.

I was glad to see this post. I just picked up an 87 EB and was wondering if the sunroof hardware was still available.
