I have a 94 mustang 5.0ho with the engine harness and ecu, I was reading somewhere that you can use the explorer 5.0 body harness and with minimal splicing make it work with the ranger? I can't find the original link I was reading? My question is why can't I just use a 94-95 mustang body harness? I do drive a 95 2.3 2wd step side.

Read my SVT build thread, first post. The mustang harness can be used, but its much more wiring...

Honestly rangersvt, that's a really great build thread but all you talked about wiring wise, was upgrading the starter circuit, that doesn't really answer my question at all. :icon_hornsup:

The 96-97 explorer 5.0 harness is a plug n play swap on the 42 pin, the 12 pin needs a few pins repinned...
