I'm just a poor redneck. I use bottle jacks, high lifts and I borrow my buddies semi truck jack stands when I do axel swaps. They go to 40" tall and are huge.
I don't even have cement. I work in the dirt. :(

You did more to your truck with jack stands and dirt than I did with mine using a garage and pavement :headbang:

Yeah but it takes for ever. Having to level everything and adjust for the right height was a huge pain. Some day I'll be able to afford a nice shop and then I probably won't be able to afford my projects lol.
Hopefully I'll be able to build a truck that looks as good as Plum's!

Quick question, Are you using any sort of proportioning valve on your brakes? Or do you have it as simple as F-350 1.25" master, dummy proportioning valve, lines ran straight to their respective places, 79mm Bird calipers, and Lightening calipers? I really appreciate your response.

Keep in mind that I also have no form of ABS and I have hydroboost....the pedal might be a bit stiff if you are running the 1.25" master with just vacuum boost. You may want to consider a 1.125" master and just have a tad more travel, but more of an advantage.

I've been working on this for a while, I've got a '95 ranger master(1 1/16") a '94 f250 master (1 1/8") and a '96 f350 master ( 1 1/4"). One way or another I'll get it sorted out. Lol. Research has led me to think the 1 1/8" master should be the one. But there are several TSBs online about f series trucks having low pedals, the bigger 1 1/4" master fixes it. I guess I'll find out which one works best. I appreciate everything.

If the pedal is too low with the 1.125" then adjust the push rod length between the booster and master.

Finally ordered a hardened cross pin for the 8.8...my luck would be to setup new gears then snap the stocker and trash them..lol

8.8 gears showed up. I sure hope this thing will be as peppy as I am hoping for with boost and 5.13s.

So last trip out...my fuse for switch panel power popped and caused my to lose my e-fan since the relay had no trigger power. The only spare fuse I had was a 30 amp so...To keep from over heating I threw it in. I noticed my wideband started flashing "E02" I assumed I had caught the o2 harness....and it was unrelated (Looking back..durr I should have put 2 and 2 together)

I was kind of right. The o2 pigtail had rubbed through on the heat shield and that's what popped my fuse...when I put the over size fuse in, which apperantyul fried the gauge. (The fuse feeds my switch panel power and is the constant 12V pwr for the wideband)

Sent the gauge back to Autometer who diagnosed it for free and offered to replace it for a fraction on new price even though it was out of warranty by 2 yrs.lol
