I picked up a 87 ranger with a 2.9 and a blown head gasket. I drained all fluids and tore it down to the block. I cleaned everything real good and put it back together. I bought a low budget oil filter and put some used oil "3000 miles" in it. Its running pretty good. I am planning on putting 70 to 80 miles on it. When I get to the mile mark, I am going to re-torque the heads, change the oil and tune it up. I am thinking on sea foaming the block, fuel system and intake. Any other advise on what to dump in the block before I change the oil?
