Hi all,
I've found an '85 with a strong 302 police interceptor already in it, with an auto trans. New front brakes, gas tank, tires, edelbrock 600 carb. I asked
if he had done the swap, and what kind of lift it had. He purchased
it with it in, and no lift....kinda surprised me as everything I've read
about it recommends a body lift. He said it was tight...
Some rust, mainly the doors.
My '84 has the 'ol tired 2.8, and this might be as close as it gets for a V8.
When asked why he was selling it he said he was done putting money in
it, and he feels to make it a driver, it could use a brake booster,
a motor mount, and the oil pan drips. Thought they had tried to
remedy it with motor already in. Price is $1000.00, I'm thinking
even if I have to do what he says it needs, and whatever misc.
else, that might be a fairly good buy. Anyone have any thoughts ?
It is a couple of hours away from me....
Thanks for any input.
