I have an 88 Ranger 2wd the Box is in very rough shape I found a bed off an 1995 Ranger short bed and its very very clean and its only $200 how will this look on a gen 1 ranger ? ( 1988 2 wd short bed reg cab) or whats my best options? the current bed all mounts are rotted the floor is gone and the fenders were previously filled with soo much bondo its not even fixable so in need of a new bed.

the body lines dpnt match and the body styles are completely different...it will look silly.

a simple wooden flatbed is always a functional, cheap option...that is failing to locate the proper vintage bed in decent shape.

Still do. Can't get the link to work from Trailmonster.com . Unless the bed is a stepside it will be wider than you would probably want. About an 1 1/2 on either side wider.

Hey wicked....no offense but I think flatbeds look like ass IMO.

flatbeds do look kind of dorky...but they are very functional, versitile, and cheap...
