I recently had a cluster of wires coming from the in cab fuse box burn up. I lost use of my 4x4 switch on the dash, my dome light, my speedometer, turn signals, windshield wipers, radio, and the brake lights no longer light up when i hit the breaks, does anyone have a wiring diagram or something for this? I drive a 1998 EXT Cab Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 with 4x4.

You might be better off hitting wrecking yard and pulling the wiring harness.
Pull yours out first so you know how much of another harness is needed.

I have to agree go to the bone yard and just pull the complete harness out of one with the same drive train. Try and determine why the old harness lit up usually someone messing with the wiring not knowing what they are doing. You could be searching till the cows come home and never fix the fried harness.

Inspect the chassis harness as well looking for shorts, burnt/bare wires and connectors. Its time consuming but be thorough you dont want to light up another harness.

And make sure it's the same trim level. My bronco II had a electrical fire and I tried to use the wiring harness out of my nephews ranger. Needless to say I ended splicing his fuss box to my worrying harness. Being that his was a standard and mine is a xlt. Just a fun was to spend a Saturday.

It ended up being a fuse that burnt out when the wires caught. so i have that aspect fixed now
