So my tow pig is a 2001 f350 2wd diesel yada yada I use it to tow boats and campers of all sizes for my business plus some jeeps for play, my question is I picked up a set of drop shackles for it but I think there from a pre superduty looks like they will bolt up but my concern is how much drop will they give me? Anyone have any knowledge of this??

If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning.
Little late, but you can pretty much expect any shackle mod (lift or drop) to move your axle about half the distance of the OEM shackle to the new replacement one.

Picture your spring like a plank of wood. Lifting up one end 4" will move the middle about 2".
