Question:
Over the next two days I'll be replacing a bunch of parts in my ranger (pulled the engine tonight, it's out and ready for work).
I've read from some service manual excerpt about installing the oil pan gasket.
It talks about using RTV at the bearing journals.. what is the best type of RTV to use here?
Also, it mentions retorquing the pan bolts after installation, is that really necessary?
