So I have always had a weird issue with my vehicle. I have a 1990 ford ranger with a 2.9 in it. My first issue was the anti slosh module which wasn't snug so I plugged it back in better and it worked. A year later I had an issue that it was reading empty so I did the common bypass of the chip. That lasted about a week and now it's reading full all the time. One thing else I noticed was that my oil pressure spiked on the gauge. I don't know if this is coincidence or not. And my engine temperature has always fluctuated between the N and the R in the normal region. It will fluctuate within minutes and go down. Is there any way to test the instrument cluster or can I just throw a different cluster and hope that I don't have the same issue again.

I hope I get some good feedback on this because everything I have read online has not helped out. Thanks guys for your time
