Bought in 2002 for $4500.00 (wanted $5500.00) with 74,000K. Now has 180,000 miles.
Preventative maintenance done as required, so truck will last. Parts replaced since purchase: new battery, alternator, and clutch.
Old LEER longbed camper shell purchased for $75.00 off of Craigslist-had to put on new T-handles (15.00 Ebay), slavaged old third brake light and interior light from other shell and implanted into this one.
Since purchased it was hit head on in the rear while at a dead stop and frame bent (see the bent down bumper?)-it destroyed the older Blazers front end that hit it leaving its radiator toast, lol, and this Ranger was totalled by insurance company. I bought it back from them, and it has worked perfect ever since. I had to replace the rear driver side tailight and back cab window that was obliterated in the wreck. I had the entire truck checked out by a mechanic after the wreck (paid by insurance company) and he says the 4x4 drive does work, it just needs Ford's junky auto locking hubs replaced. I have never used it, nor needed to in any snow storm with the All Terrains on it. They take me everywhere.
Anybody want to give me a drivers side air deflector they aren't using anymore, so I can replace the cracked one? Thanks for checking out my daily driver.
