I am running the skyjacker jc60f springs. I believe they are around 240ppi.
My coil buckets were put back in the factory location from when they were took off to do the shock tower. Is this an issue with what you are talking about?

A bronco II tank fits well under the bed of the ranger where the spare use to be. Add a good skid plate to it. I have one in my ranger. Having a 23 gallon tank and all the weight behind the rear axle to offset the nose heavy ranger made it way more stable gong down hill off road. Plus I am using my original fuel pump. Cut a locating tab off and it dropped right in the tank. Just extend all the lines and wires roughly 3'.

I wish I would have went that route but I already purchased everything to do the fuel cell and the fuel cell. Thanks for the idea.

Pulled the ranger off the lift today after setting the wheelbase and doing the shock towers. I noticed the beam sets very close to the diff. I'm running the extension plate which is probably a bad idea. Should it be this close?

Keep an eye on your transmission mount. Once I installed the doubler I would destroy a stock mount in one trip. I built a new one using two leaf spring bushings. Nearly 10 years on this style and still works perfect.

HEMI.......lol. That would probably result in more carnage than I plan on. I do like that mount, do you run a crossmember on the doubler also? I plan to build one off the back of the doubler.

I haven't so far. I might add something someday. Just haven't got to it yet. I run a full belly pan under the truck. I crushed the frame rail on a rock between the factory transmission cross member and the factory tcase skid plate. So far the new skid plate/crossmember is holding up great.

Thanks. I am happy with it. Only down side is that you have to support the transmission to remove it as it is also the transmission crossmember. That and it weighs about 70lbs so if I ever have to remove it on the trail it will suck.

make a scope tube for a temp mount for removal....i do that because it makes it easier to pull the t case....

that thing is titties and icecream though...

It's funny you say that. My brother has a clamped out 3/4 ton 4x4 dodge with a hemi that he is trying to get rid of.
