Thanks a lot.

After having one chopped and open, I really like the cab with the back window being able to open or be removed easily. Kinda gives me the best of both worlds. A very open cab when I want it but a dry ride when I need it .

I really like the half cabs always have.It has to be sealed in the back that looks like a pretty good approach.I really like the the Ranger short bed on a B2 frame. Then the bed is shortened to about 4 foot long. There are three of us so I had to put one back seat in again.

My two knuckle heads are grown with there own vehicles now so I ditched the back seat for my play toy.

started my expedition rack. And, I know, I know it looks like a roll bar. It wont quite as much once I get the roof rack on it. I didn't want something that looked like a camper shell frame, wanted it to be a little different. And while it definitely is not intended to be a roll bar the pipe is heavy enough it will add some strength.

Still have some welding to do but hope to finish it this week.

tweaked a couple of things and here is the finished product.

test driving today to check for noise and rattles. so far so good. Im going to do a little hauling with it as is for a while and see what kind of tweaking I need to do.
Once I finish with the bed everything will get coated with bed liner.

I'm not totally happy with the width of the roof rack. Looks to narrow for the truck. I'll see if it grows on me and drive it for a bit before I get another one.

so far so good though. A lot quieter than I thought it was going to be.

I like it. What did you make your roll bar out of?

Cool man! I've been waiting for someone to do this with the explorer hatch. I did mine with the B2 hatch and over the years it's stated to crack pretty bad. I may redo mine this way in the future. :icon_thumby:
