New to me 84

I just bought an 84 bronco 2 it has a holley 4 barrel offy intake and a msd ignition its in awesome shape only has 72 thousand miles my question is what cfm should be on it it's kinda a dog I believe the carb is to big it doesn't stumble or sputter just a dog it is an auto

What cfm is on it now? I would guess somewhere around 300 cfm would be right for a little 2.8.

I believe the 83-85 b2 had a computer feed back from the carb which controlled the timing advance. If the carb was replaced to a different type and the ignition remained computer controlled it would not have timing advance making it a real pooch. If this be the case a duraspark convertion would cure the trouble.
