on my 08 fx4 i tighted the torsion keys to lift the truck 1 in for now because i want to got to a 3 in lift in a couple of months thats nice to here that the ride isn't any different. the 1 in lift levels it out some what but nice just can't wait to put the lift on, but i want longer shackles instead of blocks, same ride quality and not so bouchy if you put longer shackles not blocks.

.........I also removed the nerf/side bars, I think it gives the truck a cleaner look.
it does give it a cleaner look but has saved my ass a couple of times when i didn't have it in 4wd and the front slipped into a big ass hole and the nerf bars saved the side of the truck thank god they were there.

I'm not really using mine for trail duty, although I'm sure I'll have some fun with the snow drifts in winter time.

Aren't the 2" blocks stock?

My 00 came with 2" blocks. I cranked about 2" out of the torsion bars and ditched the blocks for extended shackles. She sits a little bit lower in the back but it definatly has a bad ass stance to it.

The ride quality is TONS better with out those damn blocks.

wow that looks really GOOD! I had to join upp to ask you a few questions, lol!

When you say you put 2" blocks out back.. what do you mean exactly... i thought there were already 2" blocks from the factory.. did you stack 2" blocks on top of the factory blocks?

also how many times did you crank the t-bar bolts?

That link to your torsion keys is dead. So exactly how much "lift" did you get out of the front? Your truck rocks, by the way. Oxford white + two-tone paint = a firm tool.

Sorry to bump an old thread...but stock 08+ blocks are 1.5". '07 and older 2wd Edge/Sports got 2" blocks from the factory, and '07 and older 4x4's got 2.5" blocks.

May I request a pic of your lower control arm angle?
