Hi, I was wondering if it would be easier on a 91 2.3 5 speed ranger to pull two dirt bikes (roughly 210lbs each in the bed) or on a small trailer like this one? http://www.sportutilitytrailers.com/ Which would I notice more weight/less power? I could fit everything I need in the bed of the truck so if hauling the bikes in the bed would give me the most power that wouldn't be a problem. Please let me know. :D

To me, I would rather have them in the bed.

I drove about 300 miles with 2 scooters in the back of my truck (maybe 600 lbs) and I could hardly tell they were there.

On the other hand, I have a small 4x8 trailer, and I pulled that with a DR370 enduro (maybe 250lbs) and my truck was a freakin DOG! I couldnt leave 4th gear hardly.

Pulling a trailer is pulling a trailer, its gonna have more drag.

Also, I have a 2002 2.3 manual.

If they'll fit, in the bed for sure. Much easier to deal with that way.
