Well, I got on here tonight and noticed that I had a visitor message from Steeda04SVT. It was unread and dated from April. Well, I guess I never noticed that it shows you if you have messages or not, so It's a little late, but here is what I did to the armrest in my bronco and my dad's ranger.
Its just a scrap piece of wood with thin packing foam hot glued to the top and bottom. The foam was about 3/8" thick and fairly dense. It's kinda like one of those blue sleeping mats. Then I wrapped the whole thing neatly with black duct tape. I taped a piece of duct tape sticky side out on the bottom of the block so that it would stick to the lid of the console. It hasn't come off yet, and my armrest gets leaned on all the time and it hasn't broken in 3 years.
