I am working on a dual battery setup and I am trying to figure out where I want to place the batteries. First I was going to remove the cruise control components and put one of them there but I figured to clean up under the hood I could place them behind the back seat. So I am going to build a box that will hold the two batteries side by side and place it right up against the back seat. That was the easy part the part that requires a little more creativity is how I will run the wires back under the hood so that I can tie in my winch. What have yall done? I thought about running the wires back and making a positive connection port for the winch but I am really not too sure how to do that. A buddy of my said I should run it off the solenoid but I am a little iffy about that.
I seen the one member here that put the batteries in the floor and that will be my ending setup I just have to mount them temporarily for a little while so I can make it to the local ORV park in 2 weeks.
