I have am 87 Ranger that I want to replace the doors on. I am looking at the doors that have speaker holes, power windows and locks. Anyone know what years fit my truck.

I've never seen power locks on a first gen (or second gen for that matter) but the doors on my 88 and 92 had speaker cutouts. The 92 actually had speakers but I don't like my ankle hearing anything loud...I just saw on LMC that power door locks were an option in 91-92...can't remember ever seeing them in Canada...

Any doors from 83 to 92 will fit...extended or regular cab are the same...just pull the door panel off if you are not sure...

I will warn you though...the door hardware for locking and opening changed sometime between 88 and 92...so if you have the hardware that's great...it can actually be swapped over...but not easily unless you are more mechanically adept than I am...which wouldn't take too much...:)

Check LMC if you can't find what you want...their prices are not too bad for the US...

Does NOT show a full door as an option here...I asked at my local parts store in Canada and they could get them...

If you are on a budget, try some local junkyards.

When I swapped my 92 doors on I also swapped in the 92 panel...that's when I realized the hardware had changed...and was not compatible with the older 88 hardware. You can use the older inside panels and probably swap everything over to the 92...unless you have other plans.

Just be ready to swap everything if you go with a newer door. I will say I liked the inside of the gen II better than the gen I and they do have a better air dam that actually shuts out cold air and allows you to close the door without the door bouncing back open because of the air pressure inside...lol.

I was really ticked that I had to scrap a set of 88 doors though...they were in really good shape but I had no place to store them...and absolutely nobody was interested in buying them...
