Default Hey all

I recently purchased a 1991 2wd 2.3 5 speed ranger, with a seized transmission. I swapped in a 5 speed from a 2001? ranger, which caused me to lose my speedo, but whatever. I soon discovered plenty other issues.

Today I purchased a chilton manual, and i'm soon to roll up my sleeves and get this thing running.

I'm 34, have probably above average experience working on all things mechanical, and hail from Kentucky.

I use this vehicle for: around farm, around town, trail riding, rock crawling
My credo: In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Welcome to the forum. There is a tab at the top of the page labeled "how to tech" . Follow that tab to a wealth of information about your truck. Good luck with it!
