Default LED headlights

I have been thinking about putting LED headlight bulbs in my 2008 Ranger for a couple months now and was wondering if anyone has done it to their Ranger and if so, what brand is suggested is best to use?

I've got them in my 97... eBay specials and they work pretty good with the hazed up lenses.

Only downside I found is they interfere with my radio signal when they're on

I've yet to see any aftermarket LED offerings that are the correct light color (they all are a bluish 5000-6500°K, which 'looks' very bright up close, but has an inferior ability to penetrate deep into darkness).

I would suggest doing the 2000-grit wet-sand & polish procedure on your lenses if they are hazed up, and if that's not enough, add a set of halogen auxiliary driving lights.

An HID projector conversion is another option I've seen where you can get properly-colored bulbs (4000-4200°K), though HID can be 10× worse than LEDs when it comes to radio interference (especially if you have 2-way radios). Don't just stick HID bulbs in your stock housings though, you need to use actual projector lenses to not piss off everyone oncoming.

Search back a bit on this topic here, I seem to recall someone posting they just did such a retrofit on theirs within the last few months or so.

Edit:
Here it is (was a recent thread-revival)

Yeah my radio interference is with the FM waves. And a proper retrofit is the best

Not to mention that if you live in an area where it snows in the winter LEDs don't produce enough heat to keep the snow from accumulating on the headlights.
