i have a unique problem my truck is a 2001 mazda b2300 recently burnt a valve on number 3 cyl so we got a remanufactured head from autozone well after installing setting timing everything truck wouldnt start so we did a comp test 0 psi on all 4 cylinders funny thing is when you take the cams out of the head compression jumps to 120+ not sure exact number. so somehow the cams are holding down the valves just enough to let all compression out of the cylinder. any ideas guys im stuck at a standstill.

There are only two possible problems. Wrong cam timing or wrong valve clearance. Retime the cams, then double check your valve adjustment proceedure.
