I have been reading in the tech section regarding tire/wheel combinations and have a questions. If I replace the stock wheel/tire combination on my 86 BII with the 15x8.5 with 3.75 offset and 31 tires will they be further out in the wheel well than stock providing a slightly wider track and stance?

I want to push them out a bit to gain the wider stance and track and planned to cover them with bushwacker or something like that. I have planned to also use a 3" suspension lift and I know that will not affect the track just clearance.

Thanks for the assist

Jim
