I got my 98 Ranger running and decided to drive it to work for the first time.
It had been running good around town at low speeds and everything but when I got it on the highway it started messing up. I got up around 60 and it just lost its power. push the gas and nothing until I slowed way down and it would sputter and spit until I could feather the gas to make it rev. Then I could go back in drive and it would be fine for about 5 minutes and do it again. Did this 10 times to work and 12 back home. Put scanner on it and got this. Throttle/Pedal position sensor switch A circuit Low imput. Evaporative emission control system pressure sensor high imput. TP sensor out of range low. camshaft positon sensor circuit malfunction. What in the world do I do now. |
