on my chevy i want to get some new wheels and tires. the rancho lift kit calls for a 4.5 inches backspacing and the rims i want have like 6.18 inches. would that be ok? im not getting the lift yet but if i get these rims will i end up messing something up or is it ok? im probably gonna order the tires and wheels tonite
im getting a leveling kit, goodyear mtr 285/70r17 on 17x9 http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/Xt...n=PXA8069-7938. is it going to be fine for that setup or do i got to get a different type of rims

I wouldn't know specifically, but that's a big difference. Pretty likely you could run into problems with your wheels not clearing.
I'd try and find a rim with the recommended backspacing....
