The counties maintain the gravel roads/secondary paved. The state takes care of the highways/interstates.Undecided. Maintained gravel is better than neglected pavement. But if they can’t maintain pavement gravel is going to be a crapshoot.
Not even lieing, theres holes bigger on some of the state routes then you ever see on a gravel road.
I hit one so big a few months ago on M156 that i was seriously thanking the lord i had twin I beam.
