Meh, It's a 1st gen that's still around so why not?

I'd make mine a time machine if it was possible even though I wouldn't recommend going 88 mph in it

It is a neat project, I would hate to think what 20 6v batteries would cost...

My Ranger is not old; no one would call her old. She has a bluff bow, lovely lines. She's a fine truck: weatherly, stiff and fast... very fast, if she's well handled. No, she's not old; she's in her prime.

I like it! I wish I had the money and time to convert one of my 4x4"s.

getting only 40 miles doesn't justify buying it at all.

other than the local walmart I can't think of anywhere I could go that I actually
want to go that I can actually get to if restricted to a 20mile radius.

Different then some of the mod's I have seen. They didn't fill up the bed of the truck with batteries (which left me wondering why use a truck?).

I do wonder about the range, since they said mountain area, and they didn't mention hauling.
I am interested in the tech, since electric vehicles are old technology and the only way we are ever going to get better is to play around. I would love some day to see some different hybrids (takeoff torque of the electrics and then switch the motor on).
