the fm145 may work, but the M5OD is far superior and more common. any 5 speed out of a 1993+ 4.0 truck will be an M5OD.

both will work, however the m50d is the one u want if u can get ahold of one, built to handle the power

western mass. id be willing to drive a little ways too for a good deal, has anyone ever personally swapped the 5 speed in place of auto though? ive put a new trasmission in 2 cars but both was just 5 speed to a newer 5 speed, just wondering if its even worth the work for me to enjoy the standard or if i should just go the easy way and get another a4ld. or maybe just start saving for a new rig.
