I have always ran Kicker. I have had JL and Rockford Fosgate, really did not care for them. As an added bonus Kicker is produced in Stillwater, OK. I prefer to support my own economy and not another countries.

Slight change of plans due to cost. Went with a L3 instead of an L7. Hopefully my amp does not burn up the sub.

Edit:
Eventually I am going to get this cover.

I spoke with my friend about the enclosure and he is going to make to where it is completely removable, sub will sit flush w/ the front of the box, recess the amp into the box and paint it gray w/ a matte finish.

I didn't like the DS680's I had. They had no midbass whatsoever and the highs were not as precise as I wanted them to be. They did sell easily, though.

Any reason for the 5x7 speakers and not 6x8?

The technology in the American Bass speakers is far better mainly. I still stand behind kicker. I am just trying something new is all.

Sent from the front seat of my Ranger while sitting in traffic.
