Hey guys I need help, I've got a 1987 Ford Ranger 2wd 2.3L 5 speed, I believe it is a Toyo kogyo 5 speed. Issue is it's so sloppy that in gear, it feels like neutral. BUT this is why Im really changing it, I went to shift for fifth and it felt like the transmission and shifter werent connecting because it was so sloppy, it locked up to the right side and I had to pull over to get my gears back and I havent tried 5th gear since, I called ford they dont carry any bushing kits anymore. So if anyone can help me find a solution to my problem, know of anything that still sells the bushing kits for these transmissions, it'd be a life saver.
