Default Rear Drive shaft cv joint

When i accelerate hard in 1st or second I have a loud noise I think its the cv joint in the rear drive shaft
I have a 89 bII and i know there are 3 u joints down there

Is there anyways i can service/lube them?
don't really want to bring it to a shop but i can't seem figure it out.

i can only describe the noise as a "clacking"

sorry I know its not a lot of info

thanks guys, any tips would be helpful

If its a cardan driveshaft, then you probably need a new carrier bearing. If you have an actual CV shaft, then I suggest upgrading.

No Bronco II in existence has a carrier bearing on the driveline. Extended cab Rangers do and so do a lot of fullsize pickups but you usually ONLY see them on trucks with two piece drivelines.

Your noise could be related to a lot of things, bad u-joint would be on the top of my list of things to check. Transmission mount and motor mounts are also a possibility, could be slop in the rear axle.

most stock b2's are cv joint types
does it have ujoints? or does it look like an oversized front wheel drive car axle?

Left is CV (and you can see what they are good for) right is a double cardan.
