Default Questions?

I have a Few questions.
1. I am swaping in fuel injection from a 1988 thunderbird with a 3.8L. Will I still be able to do a durispark conversion?
2. I noticed that the mustang II's from the 70's had the 2.8L too, could I order custom stuff for this motor and have it fit on my truck? like and intake manifold or a head set. because they are 170CID but the ranger is a 171CID as I recall.
3. Could I just put on a 2.9l intake manifold onto my 2.8L because they are about the same size?

No. You will be using the stock TFI dist with the injection.

Same except the cam bearing size.

No. The ports don't line up. The valves are in different order in the heads between the 2.8 and 2.9.
