Looking at some 33x10.50 tires for use on my stock wheels (15x7, not sure of backpacking)
Will the 33x10.50 fit without rubbing, on only cranked tbars? No lift. |

285/75R16s do which is a 33x11.50. Minor rubing at full flex in the rear and a little on the frame in the front at full lock and flexed.

that would be a no.
i have 3" lift and rubbed before i trimmed. max you can fit is a 32x11.5 with the bars cranked, or thesame 32 with no crank and your fender liners removed. oh not to mention you will chew your fenders on every bump.

Tbar crank and an AAL. Seemed to fit fine on mine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here is the stock truck no lift whatsoever. It rubbed if you smacked a bump good and turned.

well i know for a fact as i ran 32's no lift and im running 33's with a 3" lift. do as you like, dont be surprised if they wont clear. also, stock offset will most likely cause your tire to run your sway bar at full lock.
Just FYI. also dont forget that you will most likely need a re-gear. 4:10's can be a bit too short for 33's.

Yeah 08's are lower. If it rubs a bit I'll just get some belltech shackles

I had tried a set of 33x10.50's on my 99 with no lift and i didn't have a problem. However being that mines a step side i also don't have the fender flairs to worry about which seem to reduce the amount of space you have for tires.

Even removing the fender flares on mine wouldnt give a whole lot more room. Im putting on the 6400 shackles, wich is going to give my truck a rediculous nose down stance, but if the tires dont rub aka tires dont shred on the fenders, then Im fine with it. Would having extended bump stops not also solve this problem? It would limit your flex, wouldnt it?
