Ok so i ordered a new cm from silver state ford parts and it should get here soon! I cant wait to have my 4x4 working again. But i do have one question, should i disconnect the battery before i plug the new one in or does it not matter? I have heard that when your battery dies it sometimes cause the cm to blow. As soon as i get the part i will have feedback soon!

I've replaced tons of them without disconnecting the battery. You should be ok as long as you have the key turned off.

Ok so i got the cm about 40 minutes ago and slapped it on and wow. I cant express my self in words on how awesome my 4x4 works now. First thing i did was take it thru a mud hole about 1 foot deep and got in it 2wd stopped, got out took pics, got back in and tried to go in 2wd. That didnt do anything and switch it to 4 hi and hopped right out. LOVE IT!!!
